Virgin Atlantic VS200/VS201 Cancellations.

With Airbus A340-600 G-VYOU not arriving into Sydney as VS200 until this evening due to its diversion to Brisbane the aircraft had already missed its departure slot as VS201 Sydney – Hong Kong – London Heathrow. Therefore the aircraft will remain in Sydney until tomorrow and will operate tomorrow’s VS201 departure. As a result sister G-VGAS, operating the VS200 London Heathrow – Hong Kong – Sydney departure of 24th July will terminate at Hong Kong with the Hong Kong – Sydney sector being cancelled. G-VGAS will then turn around at Hong Kong to operate G-VYOU’s scheduled Hong Kong – London Heathrow sector tonight.
